Open Source Scrum Tool

This project is part of my final year of studies at the University of Hull. Having used the agile development process Scrum at Seed Software during my Year in Industry, I decided to produce a tool to assist in the management of projects using this process.

Although the site is still in development, it is designed to work as a hosted solution with entirely separated accounts. The tool is free to use and feedback would be much appreciated.

Parkers Property

Parkers Property is a Property Consultants and Valuers in Dorchester & Bridport, Dorset. The website includes a property portfolio which integrates data directly from Vebra. This project has seen incremental updates and currently has an iOS app in development.

Seed Software

---

During my studies at the University of Hull, I took a year in industry, this placement was at Seed Software. I worked on several project, mainly web applications written in ASP.Net MVC, HTML5 & JavaScript. Utilising my existing knowledge of CSS, HTML and server technology proved perfect for this placement as I received a promotion to Senior Developer within 10 months.

Web Risk Management

During my Placement Year, I spent the majority of my time developing a bespoke risk management solution for Staffordshire Fire & Rescue service. Working in a team, I helped develop this solution from scratch all the way to its live use.

This project included the development of an MVC interface for use on desktops and a jQuery Mobile/HTML5 web application for use on tablets.

Cisco University Challange 2014

I took part in the very first Cisco University Challenge, a 24 hour hackathon that saw over 100 students form 20 different universities from across the UK compete to produce a solution to one of 5 problem statements.

The team I worked with worked on a problem relating the British Transport Police and the use of mobile devices to gather information in relation to an incident, although our team did not win the challenge the experience was like none other I have ever had before.

123 Host It is a hosting platform developed to provide a location to host my projects, as well as rent space for other users. It includes a fully automated billing system, with integration to BlueOnyx Linux hosts and Reseller Club to purchase domains.
